D-Link fixes router vulnerability

21st January 2010.

Hot on the heels of announcing the all-new DIR-665, D-Link has fixed a recent router security flaw in some of their other routers. They've issued a firmware update that addresses a HNAP vulnerability.

Some security good news, finally

The fix is available for the DIR-635, DIR-655 and DIR-855 routers. The DIR-615 fix was made available previously, and an update for the DI-634M is due any day now.

We would strongly urge owners of affected routers to update their firmware if possible.

Firmware updates available from the UK site here.
